Shipping Policy
Order Processing Times
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. High-demand products that are stocked in our warehouse may ship as soon as the next business day. Some specialty items may need to be ordered from the manufacturer before shipment to help ensure product freshness.
If an order is delayed longer than expected, customers will be notified by email.
Shipping Rates
CalVetSupply offers shipping options through USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, UPS, and FedEx. Available shipping methods are based on the total weight of the order and will be shown during checkout.
If USPS First Class Mail is not displayed at checkout, the order may be too heavy for that shipping method. In that case, Priority Mail, UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or available expedited services may be shown instead.
Free Shipping Offer
Free shipping applies to qualifying non-perishable orders over $69 that weigh no more than 10 pounds and are shipped to addresses in the contiguous United States.
Free shipping does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or orders containing perishable items that require cold-pack shipment. Orders over 10 pounds do not qualify for free shipping and will be charged according to the shipping method selected at checkout.
To receive free shipping, customers must choose the free shipping option during checkout.
UPS and FedEx Shipping
UPS and FedEx Ground, 2 Day, and Overnight Air options may be available during checkout depending on the products ordered and the shipping destination.
UPS and FedEx packages are generally shipped without signature required unless otherwise requested or required due to order value. Customers are responsible for packages after delivery unless a signature requirement has been arranged.
UPS and FedEx deliveries occur on business days only. Orders placed after noon Pacific time, during weekends, or on holidays may ship on the next available business day.
Perishable and Cold-Pack Orders
Perishable products must be shipped with insulated packaging and ice packs. These orders are not eligible for free shipping, USPS First Class Mail, or USPS Priority Mail.
Perishable orders are shipped by UPS or FedEx Air services only. During hot summer months, perishable orders may require Overnight shipping.
UPS and FedEx 2 Day Air orders containing perishable items are shipped Monday through Wednesday only. Overnight Air orders are shipped Monday through Thursday only. These shipments require a physical street address and cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
Vaccines and Perishable Products
Vaccines and other perishable products do not qualify for free shipping or standard USPS shipping options because they must ship by air with ice and insulated packaging.
If a non-eligible shipping method is selected for a vaccine or perishable order, the shipping method may be changed to the required air shipping option, and the customer will be charged accordingly.
Vaccines cannot be returned for any reason.
International Shipping
CalVetSupply currently ships to U.S. addresses only. Orders cannot be shipped directly to addresses outside the United States due to customs restrictions.
If a customer has a U.S. address where the order can be delivered, CalVetSupply may ship the order to that U.S. address.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
For heavier orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, customers may contact customer service for a USPS Priority Mail flat-rate shipping quote.
Determining Shipping Costs
Customers can calculate shipping costs by adding products to the cart, entering the shipping ZIP code, choosing from the available shipping methods, and using the checkout shipping calculator.
Estimated Delivery Times
Shipping and transit times are estimates only. Delivery timing may vary due to product availability, carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other factors outside CalVetSupply’s control.
