ProHepatic is a liver support formula for dogs and cats that does not contain SAMe
Potent antioxidant formulation that provides liver function support and protection from various causes of liver disease, including oxidation
The main ingredient is Siliphos, which is a complex of silybin, the main active constituent of milk thistle, and phosphatidylcholine
Because there is no SAMe, there are less side effects for some dogs
Active ingredients:
Silybin - 180 mg
Bioflavanol - 40 mg
Zinc - 4 mg
INGREDIENTS:
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silybin Extract Complexed with Phosphatidylcholine, Vegetarian Beef and Cheese Flavor, Grape Seed Extract, Poultry Hydrolysate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Starch Glycelate, Modified Cellulose Gum, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate.
Daily dosage:
61-100 lbs 1 tablet per day
100-150 lbs 2 tablets per day
150+ lbs 3 tablets per day
Vegetarian beef and cheese flavored chewable tablets
Siliphos
- a highly bioavailable silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex - provides potent liver support - helps maintain normal glutathione levels
Glutathione
- natural substance involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and for the immune system.
Phosphatidylcholine
- not only is it a passive "carrier" for the active flavonoid silybin, but is itself an active ingredient in promoting liver health.
