ProHepatic is a liver support formula for dogs and cats with no SAMe
Potent antioxidant formulation that provides liver function support and protection from various causes of liver disease, including oxidation
The main ingredient is Siliphos, which is a complex of silybin, the main active constituent of milk thistle, and phosphatidylcholine
Because there is no SAMe, there are less side effects for some dogs
Active ingredients:
Silybin - 45mg
Bioflavanol - 10mg
Zinc - 1mg
INGREDIENTS:
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silybin Extract Complexed with Phosphatidycholine, Grape Seed Extract, Poultry Hydrolysate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Modified Cellulose Gum, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate.
Daily dosage:
Cats and Small Dogs:
1 – 15 lb. - 1 tablet
16 – 30 lb. - 2 tablets
Offer small tablet or crush and mix with food
Siliphos - a highly bioavailable silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex - provides potent liver support - helps maintain normal glutathione levels
Glutathione – natural substance involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and for the immune system.
Phosphatidylcholine - not only is it a passive "carrier" for the active flavonoid silybin, but is itself an active ingredient in promoting liver health.
