This unique shampoo combines Benzoyl Peroxide and Micronized Sulfur in a solubilized formula
Contains Sodium Lactate, a natural moisturizing factor to help promote hydration of the skin and coat instead of drying like other plain benzoyl peroxide shampoos.
This product uses Pharmasomes, a patented technology that makes it possible to create deeper, longer-lasting delivery of active ingredients into the cells
For dogs, cats and horses
This product uses Pharmasomes, a patented technology that makes it possible to create deeper, longer-lasting delivery of active ingredients into the cells. Pharmasomes are most useful for being able to encapsulate, transfer and deliver active ingredients. Pharmasomes are made up of phospholipids, a special group of lipids containing phosphate. The reason that phospholipids are special is because they are "hydrophilic" – able to mix with water.
When a product containing Pharmasomes is applied to the animal's skin, for example, the Pharmasomes are deposited on the skin and quickly begin to merge with the animal's cellular membranes. In the process, the Pharmasomes release their payload of active ingredients into the cells. Pharmasomes make it possible for active ingredients to penetrate deeper, and also release the active ingredients over a longer period of time.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Polyquaternium-7, Sodium Lactate, Precipitated Sulfur-USP, Benzoyl Peroxide–USP, Carbopol ETD 2020, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Color.
Active Ingredients:
2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, 2.0% Micronized Sulfur
Directions:
Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply shampoo to head and ears, then lather. Do not get shampoo into eyes. Repeat procedure with neck, chest, middle and hindquarter, finishing with legs. Allow shampoo to be absorbed for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

Benzoyl peroxide shampoo is an antibacterial, keratolytic and follicular flushing shampoo useful in the topical treatment of pyoderma, foliculitis and seborrheic skin conditions in of dogs, cats and horses. Benzoyl peroxide shampoo opens and flushes hair follicles and degreases oily coats
Sulfur is important in maintaining a healthy dog coat, skin and joints. It works with B-complex vitamins to maintain a dog's metabolism, and it's part of the amino acids, which the body uses to repair damaged skin and fur.
