Methigel Urinary Acidifier
A palatable supplemental source of Methionine for cats and dogs
Indications: For use as a supplemental source of methionine, aids in maintaining an acidic urine.
Active Ingredient(s): Guaranteed analysis per teaspoon (5 g):
dl-methionine 400 mg (8%)
Ingredients: Corn syrup, malt syrup, white petrolatum, dl-methionine, soybean oil, cane molasses, mineral oil, cod liver oil, water, methylcellulose, peptones, and sodium benzoate (preservative).
Indications: For use as a supplemental source of methionine, aids in maintaining an acidic urine.
Dosage and Administration: METHIGEL® is palatable. To stimulate taste interest place a small amount of METHIGEL® on the animal's nose or directly into the mouth.
Cats: One-half to one (1) teaspoonful twice a day.
Dogs: One (1) teaspoonful twice a day.
Warning(s): METHIGEL® should not be administered to animals with severe liver or kidney disease. METHIGEL® should not be administered to animals on an empty stomach. Large doses may cause gastro-intestinal upset. Control of urinary tract infection is essential.
Presentation: 4 ½ oz. (120.5 g) tubes.
