Antifungal Shampoo
Miconazole Nitrate – An antifungal with potent activity against gram positive bacteria, fungi and yeast, including Malassezia pachydermatis and Microsporum and Trichophyton ringworm species.
In combination with systemic therapy, Malaseb was shown to accelerate the resolution of Microsporum Canis clinical signs, thus reducing the risk of transmission of the disease to other animals and to humans in contact with them
Malaseb surfactants remove damaged lipids without stripping the coat.
Malaseb is free from dyes and perfumes to reduce possible exacerbation of skin problems and cause skin reactions or irritations.
Active Ingredient(s):
Miconazole Nitrate 2%, Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2%. Indications: For dermatological conditions associated with infections responsive to Miconazole Nitrate and Chlorhexidine Gluconate. Medicated shampoo formulation for dogs and horses.
Directions for Use: Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather shampoo over the entire body, allowing 10 minutes of contact time. Rinse completely with water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside, then weekly, or as directed by veterinarian. contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
