What is Hyaluronan?
Hyaluronan is found naturally in tissues and is part of the extracellular matrix - the filler substances between cells. It has a number of beneficial properties when used as part of your animal's mouth-care. We only use high purity, high molecular weight, non-animal derived Hyaluronan 1.2M.
What does Hyaluronan do?
Hyaluronan is one of the most hygroscopic molecules (attracts water) in nature, allowing it to absorb up to 50 times its own dry weight. Helps to stop any minor bleeding and adheres to the gum creating a barrier that prevents disease-causing microorganisms from entering the oral tissues.
Hyaluronan's adherence also helps promote tissue healing by encouraging tissues to grow back faster, and soothes inflammation. It is particularly useful after veterinary dentals.
How do you use Hyalupet Gingival Gel ?
