Undesirable behaviors that are associated with stress, fear, or anxiety can be effectively managed with D.A.P. and a behavior modification program.
For the Puppy:
D.A.P. helps prevent fear and stress related signs such as restlessness and vocalization (whining or crying). D.A.P. also helps establish the puppy in its new environment (arrival into the new home, coping with new people and animals).
For the Adult Dog:
D.A.P. helps stop fear and stress related behaviors in adult dogs, such as destructive chewing, vocalization (barking or howling), house soiling, and phobic reactions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Remove the vial cap.
2. Screw the diffuser onto the vial and gently tighten.
3. Plug the diffuser into an electric socket.

Plug D.A.P.™ in the room most used by the dog.
Check that the main voltage is the same as indicated on the device. Do not place underneath or behind furniture. When plugged in, do not touch the device with metal objects. When plugged in, do not touch the device with wet hands. During and immediately after use, do not touch the device with your hands. The electric device should only be used with this DAP diffuser formulation. Use of another substance may increase the toxicity or flammability of the product. The surfaces of the device reach high temperatures to encourage evaporation of active ingredients - these surfaces should not be touched during use of the product.
In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water and seek the advice of a physician.
Avoid contact with the skin. In case of contact with the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
If the product is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately and show him/her the packaging.
Precautions:
Empty packaging and any remnants of the product should be disposed of in accordance with current regulations covering disposal of waste products.

For best results:
Plug in diffuser 1 hour prior to acclimating the dog to the area. Diffuser is intended for continual use until vial is empty. Duration of use may be adapted according to the recommendations of your veterinarian.
In mammals, lactating females release substances called “appeasing pheromones” the function of which is to reassure the offspring. Canine “appeasing pheromones” are secreted by the sebaceous glands of the intermammary sulcus in the lactating bitch. These pheromones calm the puppy during times of stress and provide reassurance, particularly in unknown environments and when encountering novel experiences.
Research has shown that the reassuring properties of these pheromones persist even into adult age.
D.A.P. (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) reproduces the properties of the natural “appeasing pheromones” of the bitch.
