Great for use:
After surgical procedures
During and after change in diet
During and after antibiotic treatment
During and after onset of diarrhea or digestive upset problems
The dried egg product in Equine IgY Plus is characterized by the content of yolk antibodies (IgY immunoglobulin) to microbial agents which can cause disorders in the normal state of the digestive tract, impair physiological digestive functions and affect rearing of foals as well as the general state of health and performance of adult horses.
The dried egg product is prepared exclusively of eggs laid by hens which have been subjected to specific immunization programs. The egg mass contains antibodies to the most important enteropathogenic agents.
In the intestinal tract, these antibodies bind to the surface of canine parvovirus, coronavirus, rotavirus salmonella and E. coli cells creating an antigen-antibody complex in the G.I. tract which prevents the antigen from adhering to the intestinal mucosa and establishing in the intestinal contents. The antibodies enhance the efficacy and/or help bridge the insufficiency of the natural local immunity. Dried egg product, the major component of Canine IgY Plus, contains easily digestible proteins with high nutritional values.
