Canine Distemper-Adenovirus Type 2-Coronavirus-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus Vaccine, Modified Live and Killed Virus, Leptospira Bacterin
Galaxy® DA2PPvL is a modified live virus vaccine which is combined with inactivated Leptospira canicola and Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae bacterin for the vaccination of healthy dogs nine weeks of age or older against canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus and leptospirosis.
Galaxy® Cv (feline enteric coronavirus) is a killed virus vaccine for the vaccination of healthy dogs against disease caused by canine coronavirus infection.

- High antigenic mass (titer), low passage parvovirus vaccine.
- Canine vaccine containing parvovirus type 2b, the most prevalent field strain of parvovirus.
- Canine parvovirus type 2b protects against all field strains currently seen.
- Overrides maternal antibodies in young puppies. Primary vaccination may begin as early as 6 weeks. Last dose may be given at 12 weeks of age.
- No reversion to virulence.
- Onderstepoort-type distemper strain, proven efficacious for over 50 years.
- Exlusive feline enteric coronavirus with proven immunogenic protection against canine coronavirus challenge.
- Lyophilized L. canicola and L. icterohaemorrhagiae provide broad protection with added stability and convenience.
Dosage and Administration: Inject one dose (1 mL) subcutaneously or intramuscularly. The initial dose may be given at 6 weeks of age. Repeat at 2 to 4 week intervals until the dog is 12 weeks of age. A minimum of two doses are required for primary immunization. Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.
Shake the Galaxy Cv vial and transfer its contents to the Galaxy DA2PPvL vial aseptically. Mix gently until dissolved. Use entire contents immediately after rehydration.
Contraindication(s): Do not vaccinate pregnant bitches.
Precaution(s): Do not freeze. Use new, non-chemically sterilized, needles and syringes. Do not mix with other vaccines. Burn vaccine container and all unused contents.
Caution(s): Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs.
The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions.
The age at which maternal antibody for canine parvovirus no longer interferes with the development of the active immunity varies according to the bitch's titer and quantity of colostral antibodies absorbed by the puppy.
Antidote(s): Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
