EQUI-PHAR BISMUKOTE PASTE

Active Ingredients: Bismuth subsalicylate, magnesium aluminum silicate, xanthan, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, sucrose, apple flavor, artificial colors, salicylic acid, sodium salicylate, sodium saccharine.

Indications: For horses, as an aid in the treatment and prevention of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation.

Dosage & Administration: Use 5 cc per 100 pounds of body weight 3 to 4 times per day, or as directed by a veterinarian. 5 cc BISMUKOTE PASTE = 1 g bismuth subsalicylate.

Caution: Hospitalization, and oral or intravenous hydration may be necessary in cases of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation. Consult your veterinarian if signs of depression, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort persist. This beneficial medication may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue and stool.
